The critters on the cover do appear, but not in the manner presented in the cover.ДЄll in all, I'd have to give it a 4 out 5 stars. I will have to say that it has a very evocative cover, and kind of wish that there was an encounter that came close to it. The NPC players are presented, and given reasons for what they're doing before and during the adventure. What intrigued me was that it had a linear mission listing, but the encounters could be skipped or done in any particular order dependent on how the players get into the adventure area. It also has a double-sided poster map that has three locations on it, with the rest expected to be done with tiles or a mat. The module itself is fairly small, getting characters from 1st to 2nd level over the course of the adventure. That's something else I'll have to work with when I get all of the pieces I want to work with.

My only other real problem is the DCs given for the Skill Challenges are 2 higher than the recommended chart listing in the DMG 2. I figure with a little work, this could be something larger to work with, like that old adventure for Basic set in a ruined city that had 2-4 factions in it. It's still a decent adventure, just one I'll have to reskin and put in a new location when I plan out my campaign that I'm starting to figure out.
